Altoona Patriot Starts Petition for the State to Lower Gun Purchasing Age

ALTOONA, PA – Altoona local and self-proclaimed patriot Gus Miller has begun to garner attention due to his growing petition for the state of Pennsylvania to lower the age requirements to purchase guns. 

Currently, laws in Pennsylvania require people to attain 18-years of age to purchase a rifle or shotgun and 21-years of age to purchase a shotgun. However, local utility-pole inspector Gus Miller is proposing a change to the state’s legislation; beginning his mission here in Blair County. Miller’s petition suggests that the age requirement should be lowered to 16-years old for all types of guns.

“If they can drive, they should be able to drive to the local Walmart and buy a gun,” Miller stated to a correspondent, “A lot of people look at me and my cause and think, ‘What does he know about the law?’ And honestly, it’s not a lot. But I do know one thing: I’m an American.”

While Miller does not have any formal government experience, he shared that he feels confident that his "patriotic braverism" and his membership in the local White Male Pride chapter have provided him with the perfect foundation to propel him forward in his fight for freedom.
